Chellsie Memmel: Oh, basically, it was after I had my daughter in 2017. I took time off and I just was looking for something to get back in shape. The only thing and only a way to work out I know is through gymnastics conditioning. Chellsie Memmel last competed as a pro gymnast in 2012.. 2017-03-23 · Chellsie Memmel became a two-time world champion in 2003, at age 15. A freak foot injury kept her off the 2004 Olympic team, but a year later, Memmel won one of the most coveted medals in gymnastics: the world all-around title.
